Error while OpenLCA is installed that Mirosoft Edgen cannot read and write to data directory

I got the error message  while OpenLCA is installed that Mirosoft Edge cannot read and write to data directory. c:\Users\WIKAAdmin\openLCA-data-1.4\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.swt\EBWebview.

What does this problem come from?

Was openLCA installed by an admin on your system? That could explain it. Better use the zip archive then and extract it, or have the admin update the .ini file to specify a different data folder, where you can read and write from, as shown here: https://ask.openlca.org/20/how-to-change-the-folder-in-which-openlca-saves-databases?show=20#q20.
