Hi all,

I am developing a product EPD and with the external verifier we realized that PERM, PENRM, EEE and EET give uncorrect results when using openLCA. Thus, I am calculating the values for these indicators manually. Now, I have one doubt. If there is packaging coming from semi-finished products from suppliers and that packaging is treated as waste in module A3. Will that packaging be considered in PERM, PENRM, EEE and EET or not?

My doubt is because in EN15804+A2, it is considered that flows leaving the system at the end-of-waste boundary of the product stage (A1-A3) are allocated as co-products.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

"give uncorrect results when using openLCA" I would probably disagree, which database are you using, in which version? For PERM and PENRE, please see the other post, https://ask.openlca.org/9173/ecoinvent-en15804-databases-inherent-secondary-material?show=9173#q9173.
