Impact analysis results all showing zero

Question

(I solved this myself, locking but leaving it for the archive).  Solution in first comment.

I am using the US LCI database (downloaded January 2026) and the openLCA LCIA Methods package 2.8.2.

Any time I run calculate on a product system (I happen to be using one specific process from there - Electricity, bituminous coal, at power plant - RNA) and choose one of the LCIA methods from that package, all impact results are zero.  I have checked TRACI (2.1 and 2.2), Recipe 2016, etc (I have not checked every one!).

If I separately install just TRACI 2.1 LCIA, I get expected LCIA results.

Note that I had US LCI and this product system installed months ago, with openLCA 2.5, and installed the new LCIA package (2.8.2) into it - but had not seen the note about it requiring openLCA 2.6.2 - I deleted the LCIA methods, updated openLCA to 2.6.2, and reinstalled US LCI and  the LCIA package.  but still have all zero impact results from any method.

Note: inventory results look correct, just zero on displayed impact analysis results.  Also - if I export TRACI2.2 char. factors to CSV, they are all non-zero.
 

Any idea on other things to try?

I forgot that US LCI and other data from the US federal commons is tied to FEDEFL flows, and so the LCIA Methods in the big "openLCA LCIA Methods" pack aren't compatible.
