Dear OpenLCA team,

I really like the library concept. It provides a clean way to reference databases from projects while keeping the original databases unchanged.

I recently tried creating a library from Agri-footprint 6.3 and noticed a couple of issues:

  • Cultivation processes (e.g., barley cultivation) are multifunctional, with the quantities of the main product and co-products defined through parameters. In the generated library, these quantities appear to be set to 1, which does not reflect the default parameter values in the original Agri-footprint dataset.

  • Multifunctionality in the cultivation processes is handled through allocation factors. However, these allocation factors do not appear to be retained in the generated library.

It would be great if these issues could be addressed.

That said, if library creation works correctly for Agri-footprint 7 and 8, then these issues may no longer be relevant. I will soon be purchasing the latest Agri-footprint version, and I mainly want to ensure that the library functionality works smoothly with the current releases.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Alberto
