Hello
I want to model a medical waste treatment project. in the database there are no projects that deal with this item.
do i have to set up a process to model my project based on similar projects?

Yes that is very likely, and also common practice in LCA that you model your foreground model based on specific data, and complete with a background model which you build from databases, for electricity, transport, packaging, and so on. Success!
