Impact of electricity not showing up

Question

I have electricity as one of the inputs in a process. When I create the product system, electricity flow gets linked along with the providers upstream, in the model graph. But on performing the impact calculation, none of the providers are shown to have any impact. Can someone help? I am using the ReCiPe Midpoint (H) Assessment method.

You can calculate the electricity supply chain "alone" in a product system, this should then have impacts. There are some few databases however that contain dummy processes since they were originally created in SimaPro, these provide products out of nothing, and thus without impacts.

Or, maybe, you apply allocation in the process, and thereby exclude the electrictiy supply chain.

Or, you use EF data  that fit only to the EF method.
