How to open ecoinvent3_01 database on Mac ? Failure to update the database

I'm trying to open the ecoinvent3_01 database on my Mac but everytime I click on it, it tells me it failed to update the database and I can't find the log file (under Help) for further information as it says. However, I can open other databases like exobiase3 or NEEDS so I don't understand. Can someone help me please?

Since 3_01 is a rather old ecoinvent (from 7 years ago or so), the openLCA database schema has changed quite a bit - try opening the database with earlier versions, and update in several steps. Older openLCA versions are at sourceforge.
