It seems that carbon sequestration is managed differently in LCIA methods, in is integrated differently in the LCIA methods packages: for example, when comparing CML2001 CF datasets in the ecoinvent LCIA package and in the openLCA LCIA package, one can see that the former misses the negative CF for the resource "carbon dioxide, in air".
I couldn't find any negative CF for carbon storage in all ReCiPe method.
Maybe I missed something.
Otherwise, it is best to be careful when working with wood materials e.g. for long-term construction.
