How to properly merge two databases

Hi,

I've been using and working on ecoinvent 3.7.1 until here and i ordered the v3.8 and dowloaded it. So i went to my current database (3.7.1), right clicked on it and selected 'import' and then "entire databse". I chose the cutoff method (don't really know the difference with regionalized or not) and then imported it.

But when calculation starting, it failed and in the log file here is the message :

I tried to check db and there are 54k errors when validate it

So how to properly merge two databases ?

Yes, good question, the merging you are referring to is maybe more an update of an older database to a newer one, right? We will be preparing a script to do this, for e.g. ecoinvent 3.9, soon, to be executed in openLCA. So far it is also script-based but done by us here for some cases.

The 3.9.1 has been released and I'd like to know where can we find the script for the update from 3.7.1 to 3.9.1.
