Hey,

I'm currently creating a parameterized life cycle model for passenger cars for my master's thesis based on background data of ecoinvent 3.8. I created the different vehicle technologies and e-fuel production processes myself in foreground system processes where I can use my own created electricity mixes to simulate different future energy scenarios. So these electricity only concern the fuel/electricity production for the usephase of the vehicle (hybrid, electric, fuel-cell or ICE).

My question now is if it is possible to apply these energy scenarios for every process from ecoinvent that is used in my model without changing every electricity provider manually in the processes? So also the production of the vehicle with the raw material production of ecoinvent would be supplied by my energy scenarios, and not only the usephase.

I already tried the bulk replace tool. This changes the flow "electricity, low voltage" with my own created elecricity flow but don't apply his provider process.

In hope that somebody will reply.

Best regards,

Benedikt

Hi Benedikt, you could create a "switch" parameter that you can set to 0 and 1, for different electricity processes, which allows you to activate or deactivate a specific electricity process; you will then have these different processes as providers to existing processes, and activate always one of them. Setting this up manually is quite some effort, probably doing this via python or SQL is better.
