I have a single user license for ecoinvent but, if I understood well, I can use it in two different computers not at the same time. I was wondering if I could synchronize my works somehow in both devices... maybe using a collaboration server? Could you explain me better how?

Thank you.

Best regards

Dear Frederico, please refer to the openLCA nexus FAQ for your question: https://nexus.openlca.org/faqs/8101

The LCA Collaboration Server (CS) does enable openLCA users to synchronise databases between different workstations but has not been publicly released yet. Do you own a server to run an instance of the LCA CS yourself or would you require external hosting? Users who run their own servers can host the LCA CS themselves. Users who don't have their own server may request hosting from GreenDelta in return for a fee.

Thank you Jonas, we don't have an internal hosting at the moment,l but we are creating one. Could I in the meantime change the database folder and save databases into a cloud ( i.e. google dirve, dropbox ...) or an external hard disk ?

Accoridng to the FAQ (see above) you can ("if you make sure that ecoinvent is not used in parallel at the same time on these computers")

Ok, I also tried to export my work in JSON-LD from the first computer, and then to import it in my second computer. By in such way, the reports of the projects I had exported give me zero as result. Does it depend on the extension of the exported data or from something else? Thank you very much.
