Electricity Transformation from Lower to Higher Voltage

Hello everyone,

I am using ecoinvent 3.9.1 database for my LCA model. I am trying to model electricity production from solar panel to be used by a process with high voltage electricity input. However, I could not find any process for electricity transformation from low-to-medium voltage or medium-to-high voltage. There are only transformation from higher to lower voltage (high-to-medium and medium-to-low). Should there be a process for what I need? Is it possible? Any way to model this somehow? Transformation from low to high, or high to low can theoretically use the same equipment.

I would use the factors for conversion found in the transformation process, and make your own transformation process from low to high.

check your description for your solar panel data, it may included the step up process. For example "electricity production, wind, 1-3MW turbine, offshore | electricity, high voltage | Cutoff, U"

states that the infra and transformer are included in the process.
