Hi, I'm myeongju kim

I have a question about LCCA.

I am trying to calculate the LCCA of a production process using the ecoinvent database, but the input/output production data only shows the price of the finished product. Does the calculation include the transfer cost through the provider? If so, do I need to check the cost field of the provider data?

Hello myeongju kim,

the cost calculation really calculates life cycle costs, so you do not need to transfer costs yourself (so to say) but it considers the costs as they are provided in the database, which is for ecoinvent not entirely complete, waste treatment is typically missing e.g..
