Hi. When modeling processes in OpenLCA and using datasets from the ecoinvent database, I’ve noticed that the data quality entry is empty. I understand that I can edit and score it from 1 to 5, but I’m not sure how to determine the correct score. Is this something I should evaluate myself based on the datasets I’ve used in my processes, or should I refer to similar processes with the same dataset and use their scores? The issue is that even similar processes can be very different, so I’m unsure about the criteria I should follow.

Hi,

yes. Just continue with the data quality system provided by ecoinvent in your own processes and assign the data quality according to the logic given (there is a text for each box you click). Find more information here: https://greendelta.github.io/openLCA2-manual/advanced_top/data_quality.html
Hope this helps
