Issue: Market electricity provider is auto-replaced by residual mix in OpenLCA

I am conducting an LCA using ecoinvent 3.11. In one of my processes, I set the energy mix by selecting as provider the process "market for electricity, low voltage | electricity, low voltage | Cutoff, U - ES". However, when I view the product system in the graphical model, it automatically changes this to the residual mix "electricity, low voltage, residual mix | electricity, low voltage | Cutoff, S".

I have tried to fix this several times by recreating both the flow and the provider, but the same issue keeps happening. Is this a software bug? What can I do to solve it?

Maybe it has to do with the fact that you merged the unit process databases "... Cutoff, U" with the system process database "... Cutoff, S" and when you created a product system you selected automated linking and the preferred process type "System process"?

I agree with what Conrad said. Try the "Only link default provider" option during the setup of the product system (https://greendelta.github.io/openLCA2-manual/prod_sys/Creating.html) and then you should get the right linking. Also, a common issue is to actually save the process prior to creating a product system (it is not saved if there is a *). If the issue persist, let us know
