Hello,

1. I am modelling different end-of-life scenarios with openLCA and ecoinvent . I would like follow avoided burden approach and show the credits of each scenarios. Does this mean that I should use APOS for the avoided burden approach? Or can i use APOS?

2. If i want to use circular footprint formula then which database should i use? APOS or cut off?

3. If i have an internal loop of a material and I do not have any burdens at the recycling process (eg I have material just recycled/reinserted back so I put as input in the openlca input= material sum-material recycled so I can show that I have the benefits of not using other virgin) then which database should i use? APOS or cut off?

4. I use attributional approach in general

I would appreciate the help on this to clarify how these different type of databases affect the allocation model that I choose and also a guidance.

This is a gap in the literature and not written what exactly to choose.

Thank you.
