"export results to excel" is frozen on the screen

Question

When I try to export the results to Excel, the screen freezes and I am unable to click any buttons. I have tried logging out of the external desktop, but the issue remains when I log back in. Could you please help me resolve this? Thank you in advance.

Yes, the result export to excel is quite large when you select everything (500 MB for a usual ecoinvent system), also depending on the database and model of course -> include fewr items in the dialog to be entered in excel maybe.
