EDIT: solved – I was still using openLCA 2.0.4. upgrading to 2.6 fixed the issue.

I am getting an error when trying to open the BAFU:2025 DB that I downloaded form the Nexus:

"Could not get the version from the database. Is this an openLCA database?"

I tried both versions of the .zolca file that are available and I tried to restore as well as import, but this error keeps coming up.

is this a known issue? and is there a workaround?

Hi Matthias,

no this should work, but be aware that you need to unzip the file first (as per request we have not put the zolca file directly on Nexus but a zip containing also reports etc.). Also, you need to use openLCA 2.6.

Best wishes,

Andreas

Ah, the openLCA version was indeed the issue. thank you.

maybe then I should support the idea posed by kuxiangwei more, regarding the software update feature :)
