Hey,

I have encounterred a flow mapping issue, and I hope that I can get some guidance from you.

In SimaPro 10.5.0.3, I exported my project, including the entire background Agri-footprint 7.

In OpenLCA 2.7.0, I firstly created an empty database "from scratch" and with "complete refernce data". Then, I have imported my CSV project (import > file > csv file), using the "SimaPro_import" file for flow mapping. The import seems successful, at a first glance.

I have then imported the OpenLCA impact assessment package. I tried this in two different ways: the first time I did it using the "never update a data set that already exist"; the second time I did it using the "overwrite all existing data sets". The following problem remains, regardless of the chosen option. I have a lot of elementary flows in the following folders and their subfolders

Flows>Emissions to air, Flows>Emissions to soil, Flows>Emissions to water

that have not been mapped during the importing process. They are are not seen by any of the LCIA methods, because they are located in the wrong folders. During the importing process, they should have been remapped into the following folders:

Flows>Elementary flows>Emission to air  /to soil   /to water and replaced by the respective elementary flows.

It is all sorts of elementary flows, from Carbon dioxide emissions to heavy metal emissions.

There is a problem with the CSV mapping file (unless I am using it wrongly). I wouldn't mind to "bulk-replace" a dozen of flows, but here we are talking about hundreds of flows that have not been mapped.

Do you have any comment / recommendation?

I look forward to hearing from you.

All the best,

Alberto
