How to calculate ReCiPe 2016 midpoint normalized results

Question

Hi there!

How can I obtain normalized results in ReCiPe 2016 method?

The selection dropdown for normalization/weighting in openLCA (I'm using version 1.8) when selection ReCiPe 2016 is empty.

The options are there when selecting ReCiPe 2008, though.

Hi Guiseppe,

it is not so much the openLCA version but instead the LCIA package version; if you have normalisation factors for your LCIA categries, you can apply normalisation. E.g. in LCIA pack 2.0.4, there are normalisation factors for ReCiPe 2016..

..and thus you can apply normalisation. You can also edit and/or create new normalisation sets if needed, and apply these.
