Cannot import excel file into the database

Question

Hello, Ive been trying to import excel files into the database but its not working? Does the excel file has to be in certain format or anything? Also I`ve been trying so select providers for the products but no providers came up, does that mean the database doesn`t have the info for it? Which is the database i should be using then (free database)?

Would be much appreciated if anyone answers this, thanks.

Hello! I`ll try to provide answers:

Yes (as you may expect..). You can create the needed format by exporting a process to excel.

Yes, then the database you have does not contain processes which produce / provide the products you need in your process.

"Which is the database i should be using then (free database)"
A database that contains the product you need - to find this out, the product search on openLCA Nexus is probably useful.

When you say that the excel has to be at certain format, does it mean that it should be in the certain file format (e.g. csv) or else?
