I'm trying to capture CO2 from industrial flue gas using a microrganism algae to produce algae biomass
Does anyone have any experience of doing this on OpenLCA

We have done this in the SH2E project e.g., the CO2 that is captured is then not an elementary flow but a waste flow (could even be a product but this is unlikely). You can then model the capture process as waste treatment.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for your swift response..
1)Please can i have access to the SH2E project
2) what about other components of the flue gas which are not captured since algae biomass is my target product  will i still need to include the residual CO2 in the output because I know OpenLCA cannot take same input and output

"OpenLCA cannot take same input and output" - no that is GaBi (or however it is called now), openLCA can have the same flow on input and output; the SH2E project is here: https://sh2e.eu/.
