I am reaching out to gather information regarding the optimal hardware requirements for using OpenLCA effectively, as I am planning to purchase a new computer for this purpose.

While I've reviewed the specifications suggested in the "openLCA Collaboration Server 2.0 Manual," they seem to be somewhat lacking for my intended use.

Since a new computer purchase is imminent, I would like to ensure that the system is capable of supporting OpenLCA smoothly and efficiently.

Could you please provide recommendations on the ideal hardware requirements, taking into account aspects that will enhance the application’s performance?

but please be aware that the Collaboration Server is not openLCA - the Collaboration Server will run on a webserver, openLCA locally on your computer. What Jonas posted below is for openLCA on your local computer.
