Hi!

I hope to get some help troubleshooting the following issue:

When creating a new flow from scratch and changing either Flow Type or Reference Flow Property, openLCA starts loading endlessly, and needs to be force quit to reboot. Sometimes this error doesn't occur but most of the times it does. Other macbook users in my class are encountering the same issue. See input below:

In database --> Flows --> *Right click* New flow --> Insert name --> Change Flow Type/ Change Reference Flow Property --> openLCA starts loading endlessly

Running openLCA 2.5.0 on Macbook Pro M1 with 16GB of RAM, maximum memory usage of openLCA configured to 13100 mb, running macOS 15.6.1

Thanks in advance!

Does this happen with a specific database or also with other databases (e.g. an empty one)? If with a specific database only, does the validation show any errors and how many flows contains that database? Thanks!

Hi! I have the same issue. This happens with any database, whether made from scratch or imported from file. The validation doesn't seem to be giving errors with databases created from scratch. In other databases (ecoinvent) imported from files there are no major errors (e.g., a duplicate process).

"doesn't seem to be giving errors " - you either get errors or not?
