Minimum CPU to run OpenLCA

I am considering purchasing a couple of budget laptops for my LCA class to check out. Invariably, there is always one or two students every semester who need a laptop.

What is the minimum CPU (or processing capability) that you would recommend for OpenLCA to run on a cheap laptop?

Hi Amy, there is no straightforward answer to this. It depends a lot e.g. on what database you are using or whether you are using unit or system processes. In general, memory is quite important and the amount of memory with which openLCA operates can be increased. If cut-off is applied, the amount of required memory can be reduced. I hope this helps.
